With traditional wooden doors, you are resigning yourself to the maintenance of sanding, weather sealing and regular re-varnishing to keep that finish you had from the installation and to ensure the door doesn’t begin to warp. With a composite door, the most you’ll have to do is wipe it with a soft cloth and some soapy water when it gets dirty.
Composite doors are also known for it’s amazing heat insulation properties and are around as much as 6 times more insulating than wooden doors. If you want to have a cosy warm house, lower heating bills and do your bit for a reduced carbon footprint, a composite door is the way to go.
Our composite doors are made from a mixture of materials such as glass fibre, which is pressed together and glued under high pressure. Our doors are then clad in an outer skin which can be made to look like real wood but are far stronger, composite doors will not require repainting and are virtually indistinguishable from wooden doors, our composite doors are also installed with multi point locking systems.
